February 19 is the day I was born. Growing up, that day was not just cause for celebration, but the day when I could live out my heart’s content. It would often start with breakfast in bed on the plate that came out only once a year, and read “Today is your special day!” It was a day when it was ok to lounge in pajamas all day, forget to make my bed, or eat a Vermonster ice cream sundae at Ben & Jerry’s.
